Furthering The Blog Experience

With my prior blog post I would expand the resources for the help of the students. After a few tries with them asking their fellow peers and looking at other sites at trying to figure how to navigate through. I would give them a hint on how to get to what they are trying to instead of showing them exactly what to do. With doing that would still give them that independence but just lead them into the direction that they need to be going towards.
My first blog for my students would deal with them showing their creative side, and things like a personality activity which isn't hard to do. Its simple, fun, and also you will be learning how to blog during the process. Also they would have a fun and exploring blog every morning to let them understand blogging and its concepts.

  1. If your first blogging assignment is something fun, students may feel more motivated to work with the website and tools available instead of getting frustrated because it's new to them. Good idea!

  2. You colors are great! The page is very inviting. I agree that a fun project would motivate the students. Allowing them to bring out their creativity is great. For some it may take a while but they will soon get comfortable. Good job!

  3. I like how you aren't holding their hand though it all. I like how you will give them hints so they can still figure it out on their own.

  5. I like that you're willing to provide some hints to setting up the blog because when students get stressed and frustrated, they tend to quit what they are working on. I also like the creative and personal project. It will help students with self-discovery, the students will be able to learn about each other, and you will learn about your students as well.

  6. The fact that you are not fully giving them the answer will only motivate and push them more to find out the answer themselves, I like that idea.

  7. I think that having your students do blogs every morning will really help them learn how to navigate around the blogging website.

  8. I really like the idea of not giving them the answer on how to do something. This is a good way to get students to start acquiring critical thinking skills along with problem solving skills.

  9. I like how you're giving your students the freedom to explore! We really learn from our own exploration.

  10. Using a blog as a morning warm-up would be a good idea. It could be a fun way to get the students excited to start another day of learning.

  11. I like that you would give them less instructions as time went on so they begin to improve critical thinking skills and learn how to solve problems independently. I think it would give them good experience on how to figure things out on their own when they're outside of school.

  13. I think that blogging every morning will really help them learn how to blog on their own rather than having to ask questions about everything.
